How to play
- A forest grows by itself for one century, which lasts 150 seconds. Trees deepen from pale green to dark teal as they age.
- Lightning strikes all century long. A cell flickers for two seconds before the bolt lands, and fire runs fastest in the direction the wind blows.
- Tap a fire, or a flickering cell, to douse the ground around it. Wet ground cannot burn for a few seconds.
- Tap the forest to cut a small firebreak, or drag to cut a line. Streams stop fire, so cutting the land bridges between them walls off whole parts of the forest.
- Each action uses a charge. You hold up to 3, and a new one arrives every 3 seconds, so pick your moments.
- Your score is the total age of the trees still standing at year 100. Watch the timeline for wind shifts and the drought decade.
- Everyone plays the same century each day. On a keyboard, move with the arrow keys and act with Space.
